Mission Guild

The Mission Guild is a ladies organization that is joined with other WELS congregations in the area to form the Capitol Circuit.  Ladies from the congregations of the Capitol Circuit meet in the spring and fall for a Rally.  We listen to various speakers giving us up to date missions news and have a brief business meeting.  We are members of the International Lutheran Missionary Society that provides focus for us in our support of missions and gives us information about our missionaries at home and abroad.

Objectives of the The Mission Guild is to increase interest in and to support mission work not funded by Synod. Mission Guild meets at Eastside monthly on the third Thursday from September to May, excluding January.  We often have speakers who are working in mission ministries.  Offerings are collected which we send to missions such as the African Medical Mission, India, China, Kingdom Workers, etc. who depend on gifts such as ours to carry on their work.  We also support our missionaries with prayers and letters of encouragement.  All ladies of Eastside are considered Members and we welcome all of you to join our monthly meetings
