Bible Studies
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” (Col 3:16)
Here at Eastside Lutheran we really do take the Word of God seriously and love to learn and share it. We offer multiple Bible Study options to hopefully provide studies that work with your schedule and spiritual needs. Check out the studies below and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. We’d love to have you join us as we learn more about our Savior, Jesus Christ, and all that he teaches us in the Bible.
Starting Sunday, September 10, at 9:15 a.m., Eastside will begin a new Bible 101 class. This class takes us through the main teachings of the Bible using the context of our Sunday morning worship services. The class will meet Sunday mornings in the fellowship hall starting at 9:15 am. This class also serves as the gateway to membership at Eastside. This is a great opportunity to invite a Friend, Relative, or Neighbor who needs to learn about Jesus. This is also a great opportunity to “brush up” on these important Bible truths that you may have learned long ago. All materials will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Berg.
Do you feel like a nobody? It’s all too easy to get caught up in the world’s race for success, even if you know that Jesus is your source of hope and significance. Perhaps you’ve even seen people using Christianity to achieve worldly success. How did we as Christians get to this point? In his book, God Loves Nobodies, Pastor Matthew Doebler addresses humanity’s constant pursuit of lasting recognition both inside and outside of the church. Using an engaging variety of biblical examples, true-life stories, and humorous pop culture references, Doebler explains how and why Jesus is the eternal solution to your desire to be somebody. We will meet at 6:30pm on Wednesday’s starting, September 13. The cost of the book is $19.
Friday Morning Bible Study: Our Friday Morning Bible Study will meet on Friday’s at 9:30am, in room 208, starting on September 8.
