“Ultimate Battle Simulator.” Have you ever heard of that? It’s a video game for your computer that allows you to line up various historical fighting forces against one another to see who would win.

I hope you’ve had a marvelous few days filled with good gatherings. Whether it be this past week or weekend (or a combination of both), I hope you were able to make it home or get together with friends and family.
Have you ever received news that wasn’t good? None of us like to be on the receiving end of bad news.
I remember the side-street in Jerusalem. There was a tourist shop where I bought for my grandmother two pictures: they were painted wall art made from a plaster depicting the Jerusalem skyline.
When it rains it pours. It certainly literally did yesterday. When you hear that you may think of scenarios where you have said it or thought?
It made me ashamed. It made me feel guilty. It took me to the font seeking God’s forgiveness.
In “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, a children’s fable made famous by Hans Christian Anderson, a pair of dishonest weavers are able to convince the king that they made a fabric so incredible and so special and so splendid that only “wise people” are able see the clothes.
Who would have ever thought that reality TV would become the juggernaut that it is today? And we’ve all been bitten by the reality TV bug whether we want to admit it or not.
