Lent Service Series

Jesus of Nazareth is Passing By is our theme for our Wednesday Lent Services.

The season of Lent rightly focusing our attention on Jesus. During these Wednesdays, we will be looking at Jesus of Nazareth Passing By.  We will focus on some of the last contacts people had with the Savior and how they used these opportunities.

“First Loved Fund” Mission of Helping Others

With the contributions of our congregation, Eastside Lutheran Church was able to help someone go from being homeless to living in an apartment.  Through your donation to the “First Loved Fund,”  we were able to pay a deposit on an apartment so a lady could have a roof over her head and be warm this holiday season.

Sunday School Christmas Service

Come join us this Sunday as Pastor Berg teaches on “The Joy of Repentance” from the passage Luke 3:7-18. We will be blessed in our 10:30am service to hear the Christmas story from our Sunday School children.  Nothing is sweeter than seeing the children learn and demonstrate God’s Word.

Thanksgiving for Kids Recap

We had an amazing turnout for our First Annual Thanksgiving For Kids.  We had over 50 kids attend from grades 3K to 8th grade.  They had a great time learning why and how to be thankful to God for everything he has given us.

Art and Craft Fair Update

This past weekend we held our third annual Arts and Craft Fair at Eastside. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this a big success!  Hundreds of people come through our doors! It was a great chance to meet local vendors, meet Christ’s people at Eastside, and get some unique items.

Update: Canvass Food Drive

I’d like to say a gigantic “Thank you!” to everyone in our church and community who helped out with our Canvass Food Drive! Whether you helped assemble the materials, hand out food bags, donated food, and/or helped us collect it all, your generosity glorifies God and will feed many local students and families in need! Thank you!

Thanksgiving for Kids!

This year our church is hosting Thanksgiving for Kids (just like our annual Easter for Kids).  We want to invite you to drop off your children for a Saturday morning full of fun while thanking Jesus for everything he has given us. We also invite you to have your child(ren) invite a friend to join them for this fun event!  Thanksgiving for Kids will be held on November 17, from 9am-12pm.
