The Hidden Glory of Repentance

Of all the miracles recorded in the Bible, which one is the greatest? That’s kind of an unanswerable question, isn’t it? It’s like debating the greatest world leader of all time or the greatest invention of all time. There’s really not a right answer. Some could argue  the day when the sun “stood still,” others when Moses parted the Red Sea, still others the raising of Lazarus from the dead. We could keep listing miracles until the cows come home, but we’re never going to get a definitive answer. 

Welcome Home Sunday

You are invited to our Welcome Home Sunday on October 27th, at 10:00am.

There’s something about home. Home is where you relax after a long day of work. Home is where you can let your hair down, because you know the people there will love you, even with your quirks and flaws. Home is where you feel most safe, in a world which is anything but.

Jesus intended for his church to be more than a school where we learn about God’s Word. He intended it to be more than a cathedral where we praise our Creator. Jesus intended for church to be a home, a place where we gather with Christian family and enjoy all the blessings of home.

On October 27th, we are celebrating Welcome Home Sunday. We will talk about the importance of having the support of a Christian community. One major goal for this Sunday? We want to have 100% of our members in attendance. Let’s pack the house! Let’s see what that looks like, when every member comes together. Please do everything possible to set that date aside so you can join your brothers and sisters in Christ. We will have just one service at 10:00am which will followed by food and a band outside on our church parking lot and lawn.

Power Hour & Picnic!

You are invited to join us for our Power Hour Picnic.  If you have young children, please join us here at Eastside Lutheran Church and School on Friday, July 26, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  This is a free event that will have have a Bible story, fun, and games.  We will provide lunch around 11:30.

July 21 Outdoor Worship Service and Picnic

On Sunday, July 21, we will be having an outdoor worship service on our campus. Everyone is invited! We will only have one service that morning. The service will be at 9:00 a.m. Following the service, we will have a picnic with food provided by Bob Worm and ice cream for dessert.

Bible 101-You are Invited

Bible 101 is intended to provide a basic review of the main teachings of the Bible. Over the course of 10 lessons, students will review sin, grace, faith, works, the nature of God, the person and work of Jesus, the sacraments of Baptism and Lord’s Supper, and the Church

Easter For Kids
