Principal’s Perspective – A Devotional Message
The Book for All Occasions
During this time of the safer-at-home order, I have spent a fair amount of time reading. I have read a number of professional articles and books that relate to the world of education. I have also read some leisure books, usually in the mystery, courtroom, or historical fiction areas.
If I were having a faculty meeting, there is probably not much that a John Grisham novel is going to do to help me, even if it is a New York Times best seller. A book on social emotional learning will not help me take my mind off of school for a few minutes. However, there is a book that is perfect for any time and any place. You guessed it, it is the Bible.
Our passage for this week is a familiar one. Psalm 115:109, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” God’s word guides us through our life and all that the devil, the world, and our sinful flesh can throw at us. God’s word keeps the path visible so we can stay on it no matter how hard we are tempted to stray from the path.
As we end our school year and begin our summer break, stay connected to Jesus. Keep the book for all occasions close by and used regularly. Seek the Lord through devotions and church attendance whether virtually or in person. Let the Lord keep your faith strong so when we come together again we can encourage one another in the faith.
God bless your summer!

Director’s Message
I would like to thank our 10 cast members and their families for helping them film, read lines with them, and helping them send in all their footage!
Our 10 cast members span 3 time zones and 6 different states.
Ethan Cloute – Watertown, WI
Joe Cloute – Watertown, WI
Katelyn Faber – Delray Beach, FL
Katie Gilkey – Sparks, NV
Josiah Koelpin – Dallas, TX
Emma Lau – Derby, KS
Kate Mensching – Watertown, WI
Isabel Monday – Appleton, WI
Zoe Scharf – New Ulm, MN
Abby Winkel – Milwaukee, WI
We would use Zoom for our “rehearsals”, some recording, but ultimately they would say their lines into their cameras (phones) all on their own. It’s not easy to “act” to no one.
A special thanks goes out to two of our cast members, Ethan & Joe Cloute, for all their work on our additional “Lego” scenes to add to your entertainment!
A special thank you also goes out to Carolynn Bertolus for making a dragon costume in two days!
We hope you enjoy our Children’s Theater production from Luther Prep!
Thank you so much for watching,
Dominique Wrobel, Director
